Tarons Stocking

Finally, on her 3rd Christmas T has a stocking. I pigs it. It came from Lands End and I am thankful for my Mom who bought it for T. And I really like how my mantel turned out this year!

December Craziness

So where did I leave off....

Friday December 7th I hosted and help put on Advent by Candlelight at church. A wonderful evening of woman gathering for song, devotion and dessert. It really does help bring the true reason for the season to the forefront. Saturday morning T and I were up early and once again off to church for the Dress Rehearsal for the Children's Christmas Program. And then we headed to Placerville for all of 3 hours to celebrate Aunt Debbie, one of the greatest woman in the world! We are blessed to have her in our lives; especially after her heart issues and her battle against breast cancer! It was a veru quick trip but so worth it. I realized driving home I was getting sick, oh fun! Sunday we skipped church, we didn't get home until 10:30 Saturday night and I really wanted T to get a nap so she could be a great Cow in the program that evening. Well the day was busy, T only got a morning nap and she was the WILD cow during the program, but that is what is all about! One wild cow, Sophia was a lost sheep along with Aaron Prado and it was the most perfect program I think we have ever had at our church! This week, today is Friday, has been a busy week of catch up, cooking and Dr. appts so that T and I can both get over whatever it is that we have. Wow, crazy busy here.....but I am proud to ay as of today, Taron has not touched the Christmas Tree!!!!

Picture to come in a separate post, I really want to get my thoughts down and then I can play catch up with pictures.

Busy Holiday Times

What a busy week. Monday and tuesday were catch up days from the crazy 72 hour birthday extravaganza, Wednesday was Taron's 2 Year check-up. She is perfect. The pediatrician is so proud of her. Her weight is 24.2 lbs (18%) and her height is 33.5 inches (50%). I have no idea on head circumference,  but oh well. She also received her HepA booster shot, didn't even cry and her Flu Nasal Mist. She thought that was cool because she was given a Kleenex! She is such an amazing and aweshum (how she say's it) little girl. I am proud to be her Mama. Wednesday night Andi and I cooked the first Advent Supper. Baked Potato Bar and it was SO yummy, but a lot of work. Today was just busy trying to get things cleaned up from last night and then everything ready for Advent by Candlelight on Friday night. Andi and I are doing a table together; I was in charge of decorations and table settings and she was in charge of food and beverage. It worked well! Sarah babysat for me so I could decorate without helpful 2 year old hands! I am now on the couch beat and I still have the busiest weekend ever ahead.....will update as it all happens and post some picture too!

Birthday Bash #1 - Boyle Family Dinner

Taron had a great Family Birthday dinner in San Jose at Uncle Bret and Aunt Lin's house. We had in attendance, Bret/Lin, Danielle/Marden, Justin/Sonya, Great Grandpa Rod/Great Grandma Reta, Uncle Len/aunt Caroyln. Taron enjoyed her favorite dinner of Steak, Mac and Cheese and Corn. Which was followed up by an amazing cake by Danielle and Marilee. She was also spoiled rotten with a ton of new toys, her first pair of cowboy boots and a gift card to Target. She was exhausted by the end of the night.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sweet Baby Girl

Today is Taron's 2nd Birthday! I really do not know where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday our 2 lb 2 oz miracle was arriving.

Taron is really coming into her own, talking, playing and just becoming a sweet girl. Her temperament is so easy and relaxed and we are blessed to have her in our lives. She talks up a storm but some our of current favorites are:

MP (Empty)
Bashall (Bottle)
Auntie Monka (Auntie Monica)
Uncle WEESSH (Uncle Wes)
Bayoon (Balloon)
Dant Do (Thank you)
Peas (Please)
Skully (the name of the deer head in the garage)

As we watch her learn and grow it is amazing to see the blending on us in her. She already has a clean OCD tendencies, likes thing put away and loves to vacuum and dust, is super helpful and is really good at sharing. She also loves to be dirty, play outside and be a tom boy a she carries a purse and wears Mommies high heals! What a blessing she is.

Current phrases that make us laugh....

Dorothy all done. (when the organist at church ends a song)
Piano all done. (when ever Mrs. "Klem" stops playing)
Bye bye Bashroom. (Daddy is helping Uncle We with a tile repair and we told her it was time to leave from seeing all the hard work the boys had been doing, she now says it whenever we drive by uncles house).

T is a beautiful blessing to so many and the light of Christ shows through her smile and her eyes as a constant reminder that she is a Child of God who has been placed with us through his loving hands.

Pictures to come after tonight's final birthday celebration!
